I have really been holding out on you. For the past few days, I have been hard, hard at work (play) on a new creative endeavor. I have wanted to chat about it, but I decided to wait, to make the "big reveal" even more exciting!
For the past couple of days I have been creating like a madwoman, and immensely enjoying the process!
The idea was triggered when I was in the coffee shop on Wednesday afternoon (What an amazing time that was!). Someone had their collages on display at the coffee shop, and it really inspired me to give collaging another whirl. But, I decided to take it in a different direction. I made a creative move, which would satisfy two of my creative passions-- collages for journal covers!
Which brings me to my big announcement: I am now a journal-cover design artist (self-discovered, self-titled). I picked a couple of my journals to display here, and you can see the rest at my newly rejuvenated etsy shop!

We are off to "the lake" for a day and a night with my sis, her husband, Reilly (my niece), and our dogs.
We are leaving in an hour, so it was really important to me to get all of this journal excitement out in the world.

They are beautiful, Sylvia! I have always been quite partial to collages. I remember the first one I made in elementary school. I think I even still have it. Of course, you know what I think of journals!
